Market information often arrives in separate forms: structured data products built for professional workflows, and technology commentary written across many beats. Sorso View is designed to combine a reproducible public benchmark with editorial analysis focused specifically on AI compute economics.
What we publish.
Four publication layers. One standard.
Event-driven, Sorso View Brief, not yet active. Short editorial notes when pricing, capacity, or market structure moves. The Brief has no fixed monthly cadence and launches only after a separate activation decision.
Recurring, The Sorso View Compute Index. A benchmark across a twenty-seven-provider universe in three tiers. Fresh priced-provider observations run on weekly or biweekly issue cycles; a full twenty-seven-provider sweep runs monthly. Every data point sourced. Every methodology disclosed. Free.
Periodic, Sorso View Essays. Long-form analysis on the structural and civilizational consequences of the AI buildout: capital flows, market structure, geopolitics, labor, and the questions the AI era is forcing into view.
In production, Sorso View Reports. Thirty to fifty page research releases. Report 1 is targeted for September 29, 2026, with a hard Q3 boundary of September 30. The plan then calls for four long-form reports in the first twelve months after Report 1, with one Reports Research Note each month beginning after Report 1. Reports Research Notes are separate from the Sorso View Brief.
Who it's for.
For the people running this market, and the people trying to understand it.
The Index serves the work being done inside the AI compute economy: defending procurement decisions, evaluating provider migrations, negotiating contracts, and covering the equities. The event-driven Brief will support that same operating audience after launch. Essays and Reports widen the aperture with longer analysis and source-backed research.
The four commitments.
Every Index issue and every editorial piece meets four published standards. They are the audit framework, not aspirations.
Sourcing. Every factual claim is traceable to a named public source. Where an estimate is necessary, it is labeled distinctly.
Consistency. Same methodology, same panel, same definitions, every issue. Capture cadence follows the published methodology, and methodology changes are disclosed in the issue they take effect.
Distinction. Measured data and derived data are labeled separately so readers can distinguish which they are reading.
Correction. When errors occur, they are corrected openly, with explanation of what was wrong and how it occurred. The corrections page is permanent and public.
Where we sit.
Sorso View sits between a pure data product and a general technology publication. The Index provides a reproducible public benchmark; the editorial layers explain market structure, procurement implications, capital formation, and the limits of the observable data.
The intended reader is the operator making a compute decision and the analyst trying to understand what those decisions mean. The same sourcing and correction standard applies to both the numbers and the prose.
Editorial standards.
Sorso View publishes under an institutional voice. Articles are signed "By the Sorso View Editorial." This is a deliberate choice, and not a small one.
Institutional benchmarks and publications are often cited by publication or index name rather than by individual staff members. Sorso View uses an institutional byline so the durable reference point is the publication, its disclosed methodology, and its public correction record.
The Index is an institutional benchmark. The future Brief, Essays, Reports, and Reports Research Notes are institutional editorial. The byline reflects that.
Independence is a structural rule. Sorso View takes no affiliate, referral, or transaction fees from the providers it measures. No provider can pay for inclusion, ranking, score influence, panel influence, favorable treatment, pre-publication SVCI data, or editorial review rights. If sponsorship activates under the published governance gates, it remains outside protected SVCI surfaces and is disclosed where it appears.
Editorial culture and reliability standard reflect the founding philosophy: decisions made on data and logic, not speculation; quality non-negotiable; team capacity scaled to the demands of the work, not the other way around. Functional leads in editorial direction, operations, sales, partnerships, and engineering activate as the publication scales.
